The Coming of Spring

Well it seems like Spring is finally coming to KC. So I thought I’d write a poem for the occasion. Enjoy!

The Coming of Spring

The grass was so brown, the trees so bare;
We’d been so long in that wintry air.
No blossom bloomed, and all were afraid
That Springtime in its casket was laid.
But just when all deemed Hope as far-fetched,
And warmer air too fleeting to catch,
Then up rises a blade of green grass;
The coming of Spring has come to pass.

Stay tuned for some exciting upcoming posts: a background on where I got the idea for Plethora, and some spiritual thoughts provoked by the recent “Captain America” movie.
